Self Expression
Strong. Independent. Proud.
He is struggling to walk through the icy cold winter wind. Trying to protect himself... Wrap himself in the Pelt coat. Its Wednesday. Its cold. Its snowing. He just finished Ballet rehearsal. Still trying to catch his breath. Struggling. In his heart his happy... Happy because he knows he is meeting his best friend for a beer. Something they did every Wednesday, after Ballet rehearsal.
He's wearing tights. Tight tights. Leg and knee warmers. A corset. Loose and ill fitting t-shirt. He's wearing his favourite Springbok Pelt Coat.
He enters the bar on the corner of the snow covered street. He slips, but regains his balance... His a ballet dancer.
All eyes are on him now. People stare with confused expressions on their face. They don't
understand him... His choice of clothing. Some laughs appear above the sound of the jukebox. He smiles. He knows his stunning in every single way possible. He is proud. He is strong. Independent in all aspects of his life. Confident in his sexuality!
He walks with his head held high. He walks like a true ballet dancer. Smiling.
He sees his friend at the far end of the bar and starts to walk a bit faster. Excited to see him. Theyembrace each other. They are happy.
He orders a beer and lights a Marlboro Menthol Light. He feels the sweet, sharp taste of mint. It
relaxes him. He smiles. He's happy.
The target market I aim to design for are men in their mid twenties, early thirties. They are young men who are confident and independent in their everyday choices and truly confident in their
sexuality and who they are. Not backing down for anyone or anything. They like to be the centre of attention and enjoy wearing 'weird' and somewhat outrageous things. My target market are also men who like to express themselves through what they wear. They are proud. They are liberated.
